Inventory Associate
This is a part time position ranging from 10-15 hours per week, with room for growth. Business hours on site in Blaine.

Sweetpea and Co. is an upscale baby and childrens goods brand located headquartered in Blaine, MN. Our mission is to create children’s apparel and accessories that are as cute and unique as the children who wear and use them using the highest quality materials. We also believe in giving back to the community through social good and supporting other local manufacturers by partnering with them. 

A Day in the life of an Inventory Associate
The Inventory Associate is critical in providing our retail and wholesale customers with the highest level of customer service and prompt and accurate order delivery. The Inventory Associate is also responsible for the management of inventory and shipping supplies. Certain times of the year may require more hours - typically Jan/Feb, July and October through December. Enjoy a fun, flexible and positive environment working in a female-owned business!

 

Your duties include:

  • Fulfilling retail and wholesale orders in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Unloading, receiving and sorting inbound products, updating inventory software, and accurately tagging or packaging new products
  • Ensuring the inventory is neat and organized
  • Maintaining the supply of shipping and packaging materials and notifying if stock is low
  • Recommending ways to improve processes
  • Other duties as assigned

You are a Great Fit If:

  • Must be reliable
  • Willing to problem solve and communicate 
  • Must be detail-oriented and accurate
  • Must be friendly, professional, and customer service oriented
  • Must be interested in applying new tools to business processes and improving where necessary
  • Must be comfortable with frequent task changes and shifts in daily job duties
  • Must be able to accurately use a computer, computer applications, and basic math skills
  • Must have ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Bonus Points:

  • You have experience processing and fulfilling retail orders
  • You have experience working with ecommerce businesses.
  • You’ve worked with and supported creative, small businesses
