Our mission is to create children’s apparel and accessories that are as cute and unique as the children who wear and use them using the highest quality materials.
We also believe that babies and children shouldn’t be assigned gender stereotypes from birth by the clothing they wear. Many of our designs are gender-neutral and intended to be worn and used by all children.
In 2008 Sweetpea and Co. started with a couple of sewn baby dresses and a few embroidered baby bodysuits. Over time, the collection grew. In 2013 Rachel became inspired by her first baby - a girl - and her newly obtained degree in graphic design. Her first collection of screen printed baby bodysuits debuted that winter. Since then it has grown to include other clothing, accessories, toys and artwork.
Our quality is what makes us stand apart. We use high quality bodysuits and tees that are soft yet durable, making them easy to pass down. All printing is done locally, using lead and phthalate-free inks. Our teethers use North American maple, are made locally in small batches and are CPSIA compliant and lab tested for safety.
Sweetpea and Co. is a Minnesota (just outside Minneapolis to be exact) company founded by Rachel Winter. Her love of fabric, illustration and tiny cute babies all came together when she decided to start her own company in 2008. Inspired by her own family, including her two children, Rachel believes is creating quality goods that are both fun and functional. Her hope is that each item brings joy to both children and their parents through fun prints and quality materials.
You can find our goods in over 80 stores throughout North America.
